Rocky beat Taxi Driver, All the President’s Men, and Network. And Pulp Fiction lost to Forrest motherf’n Gump. 

(To be fair, it’s not like there was great competition when Crash won. The best movie of that lot was probably Good Night and Good Luck, though I know you’re supposed to say Brokeback Mountain.)
